This steel pendant features three layers, each fused with a different powdered metal using the artist’s “painting with powdered metals” technique. The fused silver, gold and rose bronze each produces a different hue and texture. The perforated steel insert also has been fused with gold as a backdrop for the eye-popping top quality rutilated quartz. The rutiles play against the gridline pattern of the perforated steel, adding another layer of visual sophistication. Suspended from a 20”, 2mm black stainless steel cable with a stainless steel clasp.

While the jewelry has been sealed for protection, it is possible (though unlikely) that steel can rust if exposed to moisture. Store the jewelry away from moisture and avoid submerging it in any liquids. Avoid contact with perfumes, sunscreens or lotions. Occasionally rub a small amount of light oil into the surface.
