Refraction Cuff

Like an ancient artifact with a contemporary touch

This black and gold steel cuff harkens back to relics of the past but with a contemporary touch. The rounded synclastic shape gracefully frames the wrist, while the subtle etched pattern creates a play of light and shadow across the surface. A freeform patch of 24k gold foil adorns the top, bonded using the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo. The cuff is designed to fit an average size wrist.

While the jewelry has been sealed for protection, it is possible (though unlikely) that steel can rust if exposed to moisture. Store the jewelry away from moisture and avoid submerging it in any liquids. Avoid contact with perfumes, sunscreens or lotions. Occasionally rub a small amount of light oil into the surface.
